FELLINI FILMS MEXICO S.A. DE C.V.

Fellini Films Mexico S.A. of C.V. is a film and video production company, founded in Mexico City in August 2007, by Tiahoga Ruge and Citlalli Millán.

Experienced in the production of feature films and documentaries for film and TV.

Why Fellini Films Mexico?

Tiahoga Ruge worked as an assistant to Federico Fellini in Rome from 1979 to 1980, in the production of “Citta delle Donne” and it was here where Fellini first heard the word about TULUM and became interested in getting to know this magical place.

Federico Fellini had a great interest in Mexico and its Shamans, inspired by Carlos Castañeda's books "The Teachings of Don Juan".

This is how Tiahoga Ruge supported him to meet Carlos Castañeda and travel to Mexico in 1985 to see the sites and finish the trip in Tulum.

When Federico Fellini returned to Italy, he wrote a comic with Milo Manara, called “Viaggio a Tulum” that was the basis of a plot and a film script.

When Federico Fellini died in 1993, the project was put on hold and it was not until 2007 that it was resumed by Fellini Films México who ended up producing "Soñando con Tulum", a tribute to Federico Fellini.

The vision of Fellini Films México is to produce shorts, documentaries and feature films that tell extraordinary stories of people who have become fascinated and related to Mexico, its culture and care of the environment such as:

Yuri Valentinovich Knorosov, who deciphered the Mayan writing.

Federico Fellini, who became fascinated by the magic and shamans of Mexico.

Nancy van Overveldt, a great Dutch painter in love with Mexico and its people.
